The Objective

Renovated in 2020 this detached villa is located in Geneva in a traditionally styled house that is partly located under ground-level.

The client has a passion for cooking and as a semi-professional there were several things of importance. Key in this design was to incorporate multiple workstations.

This meant 2 sinks + 2 taps, 2 infra-red lamps, an extra large oven, a steamer and an induction hob that has full flex zones on an island. Furthermore, the arrangement of pots and pans should be easily accessible without having to search for it. A large American styled fridge / freezer with cold water and ice is imminent.

Ideally there would be a place where guests could gather around and have a talk and a drink.
The kitchen is the place where we will spend the most of our the time as a family.

Perfect Alignment

Unique and a true one of a kind. This Urban styled SieMatic kitchen is accurate to the very millimetre and has the most perfect alignments of all time.
It is truly fabulous.

02

Laser accuracy is what counts

The plastered pitched roof with the build-in and hidden away support brackets for the island extractor rack which had to line up with the kitchen furniture installation multiple weeks later in the renovation process.

03

A worktop in parts that become as one

The island worktop has an integrated smoked oak bar section, a herb garden/ bottle rack made out granite, a integrated sink and a cooktop. To top it off the section around the bottle rack is 150 mm. thick. in the end it looks seamless. Mind-boggling.

04

Enjoy those views 360 degrees.

There are windows on al sides of the kitchen and it is therefore a great place to be, to cook, to relax and even to do a little (home)work at the bar.
